The evergreen Portugal international, who is still going strong at 39 years of age, has branched out onto a different platform after already dominating the social media scene. He has 112.6 million followers on X, 170m on Facebook and a record-setting 636m on Instagram.

Ronaldo revealed his latest venture to the world when posting to his loyal legion of supporters: “The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey.” The ‘UR Cristiano’ channel became the quickest in history to hit 1m subscribers.

There was no stopping there, with Ronaldo also posting a world record when it comes to reaching 10m subscribers – with that impressive mark hit inside 24 hours. The Al-Nassr star has posted a video of him receiving a Gold Play button from YouTube for hitting the initial seven-figure mark.
