THE BIGGER PICTURE
Drinkwater, who was an integral part of the 2015-16 Premier League-winning Leicester City side, left for Chelsea in an ambitious move in 2017. His transfer, however, proved to be a failure as he soon found himself frozen out of the first team at Stamford Bridge and then was sent out on four different loan spells.
